Bust, Waist + Hip Measurements are Never Enough!

Are you ever worried a garment won’t fit you there?  (There being wherever you struggle to get a good fit.)

Most fashion websites give us bust, waist and hip measurements, and that’s helpful, but it’s never the full story.

Sure, it might fit your hips, but what about across the shoulders? Or perhaps it will fit everywhere except your upper arms?

Below is the new diagram showing all the places we take measurements.

(Shoulders is a new measurement for us and it’s basically across your back between where a garment’s armholes would be.)

Every time a new style is released, I sit down and measure all these points on every size.

Then I allow for ease (ease is included so we can move and not everything is skin-tight) and then I make a size guide for that style.

The size guide usually includes the model’s measurements, as well as mine, to give you a good indication of how it fits on different sizes.

Here's an example of one of our garment size guides:

If you'd like some advice on how to measure yourself, we have a guide here.
